So Here is what happened next. I mean after the drawing from me previous post.
The idea had been rolling around in my brain for a while. I knew the colours and the material for the outside. Just not how to start with shaping it. And then I saw a cut off from an other repurpose project and got to work.
A knot here and a little fold there. A green thread and the magic was flowing. It is very satisfying, needle felting, I can tell you that. I managed to only poke myself once this time round.

Cocoons have been a recurring theme for me. There is a lot of things that need a cocoon stage before blossoming for me. And peeling open the cocoon does not help the process.
So what does?
